All Optus broadband plans now include unlimited data, but the price of these plans has increased in the process.
Like the Optus logo, the broadband bundle range has been simplified to just three options: Broadband Basics, My Entertainment Bundle and the My Entertainment Plus Bundle.
The Basics plan comes with unlimited home internet data plus a landline with unlimited local calls. Previously a similar basics option included only 200GB of data.
The Entertainment bundles both come with unlimited data, calls to landlines and mobiles and Yes TV by Fetch Connect. The Entertainment Plus option also includes the Fetch TV Entertainment Pack with 35 streaming channels.
The price of all plans has seen a pretty significant increase in price though. The Basics plan is up from $70 to $80, the Entertain Bundle is now $110 (up from $95) and the Entertainment Plus bundle was $115 but is now $140.
Optus are also offering a Broadband Only plan, but the price is the same whether you include a home phone and local calls or not. There is also a no contract, month to month option available online only.
